Cruelty-Free Certification Logos To Look For When You Shop

Over the years, cruelty-free products have become a moral standard for both vegans and non-vegans alike. In fact, in the EU, animal testing on cosmetic products is prohibited, as well as the marketing of cosmetic products that have been tested on animals. Specific countries like Colombia, Australia, Guatemala, Iceland, India, Israel, Mexico, and others have also either banned or limited animal testing on cosmetic products.

So, if you live in a country or region in which animal testing is still permitted, and would like to ensure no animals were harmed to produce your cosmetics, you’ll need to rely heavily on certifications. Keep reading to find out which cruelty-free logos to look out for!
