Are Starbursts Vegan?
We’re sorry to be the bearers of bad news, but most of Starburst’s candies contain gelatin, which is made out of animal bones, skin, and connective tissue. These are usually obtained from commonly farmed animals like pigs, beef, fish, or chicken. So, these products are not yet suitable for vegans or vegetarians.
However, don’t sweat it! The brand has recently revealed that they are launching a plant-based version of their candy, which will be available at national retailers in mixed flavors this year. These flavors include Strawberry, Lemon, Cherry, and Orange.
