Panda Express Launches New Beyond Chicken Menu Item
Following the exciting debut of Beyond Meat’s Beyond Chicken, Panda Express has hopped on board, with the announcement of a new plant-based option — Beyond™ The Original Orange Chicken!
This new option features crispy wok-tossed Beyond Chicken in their signature sauce, and will be available at select SoCal and NY locations as of July 26.
Prior to this new option, Panda Express featured just a handful of vegan options, including their Chow Mein, White Steamed Rice, Super Greens, and a Vegetable Spring Roll. The introduction of a plant-based dish will welcome new vegan and flexitarian clients, and hopefully encourage their current clients to try new meat-free options!
“Creating a fresh new take on a classic favorite is a great and accessible way to introduce plant-based proteins to our guests and perhaps even drawing a new audience for Panda,” shared Panda Express’ chef Jimmy Wang in a recent press release.
